Looks like Kevin Smith sees the horror genre as more expansive than spooky Asian girls and Aussies on holiday. In his upcoming $3 million indie horror film, "Red State," Smith takes on preacher Fred Phelps and his Westboro Baptist Church in Topeka, Kansas. The group is famous for it’s “God hates fags” website and picketing the funerals of soldiers killed in Iraq.Check out the full article here
